24 SUPERBOAT CC power ideas
I want to go to at least a 300hp on my 24 superboat CC I use it for all around family boating some fishing and racing my buddy's ...I was thinking an etec but i like the looks of the verado also and maybe a 350hp one of them any thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated also fuel consumption is a factor and not a brand new one I am thinking under 13k budget

The extra weight and extra rigging (power steering, DTS controls) of the Verado kept me away when I repowered last year. At $13k you may be stuck with the same brand of power on it now to stay in budget. Switching brands means rerigging and new controls.
Also, and this goes for everything from powerports to power equipment- when presented with similar options, take the one that has multiple servicing dealers nearby. You can love your Evinrude, Toro, or Indian, but when it breaks and you have to drag it 2 hours away, you’ll fall out of love with it. Quickly.Last edited by Spdrcr29; 11-12-2018 at 11:52 AM.

We like them the G2 are torque monsters but power per $$$ its tough to beat a verado these days. On a boat that size the weight is not such a problem.
This ones been listed for 2 months im sure his price is negotiable.

My bad, I thought it would have a 20”. The two 24s (neither CC) I’ve seen in person were both 20”, and the ones online in these links were 20”. Figured they all were, and as usual.... I’m wrong again!
