    Gear set part #

I need the correct part number for the forward/ pinion gear set for a 3.0 L torque master with 1.75/1 ratio. The set I got has a larger bearing on forward gear and a tapered bearing where shaft rides instead of a needle bearing

Yeah right, if that was the case I wouldn't have ordered the wrong gears in the first place Now I gotta hope they'll take em back since I've had em so long If not I'll have some brand new gears 43-892595A04 for sale on here!

I'd go fishing ! Belle River isn't going anywhere. If the weather ever clears up I'll be on a tractor anyways. Hard to make plans this time of year

Did you happen to sort this out? Did they take the wrong ones back?

Yes, they swapped em out with no hassle, great folks at pro marine. (My fault in wrong gears, ordered wrong set). The new set worked out fine, the part numbers I posted are the correct ones for the torque master.

Do you remember what a gear set cost from them? Are they aftermarket gears or OEM?

They are OEM, don’t remember off hand but definitely more than the 1st wrong ones I got lol. When I get back to the shop I can pull it up.
On doing your gear swap, you can get just the pinion and forward gear set and reuse your reverse. I googled the number and looks like that set is coming up for $460

Pretty sure only difference between the two is the pinion. Reverse gears normally the same. To save some dough you can just put in matching forward and pinion set. Need to verify that before spending the money, but normally that’s the case. What I done when went from 1,87 to 2.0-1
