Awesome rebuild. Finished boat looks to be a new modern design boat. Only slip up i caught was the damn steering and shifter are on the wrong side.

That is a hell of a nice project, thanks for all the pics, great attention to detail ! Nice to have a 4-legged shop helper too, are they good at mixing resin ?

It was easier than changing the one in my truck.

Thank you very much for sharing all of your build.

Incredible planning, engineering, attention to detail, and craftsmanship through and through.

It’s also nice to know there’s someone as crazy (or crazier!) than me!

My favorite picture is you with the circular saw in the gunnel. It takes some balls to cut up your boat.

I’m sorry if I missed a thread on this elsewhere, but how long did this project take you? Looks like you had some good help along the way.

I’m four years into mine and hanging the engine this week. Couldn’t have done it without my buds.

Can I ask where you had that carpet made? I’d like to do something similar.

Very nice work, sir, thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for the kudos, I'm retired so I have time in between honey-do's for some small projects. The job took right @ 3 years give or take a few oop's and re-do's I've got another year in cute stuff inc. a complete overhaul and paint on the trailer.

Carpet came from these guys, ( https://corinthianmarine.com/ ) make an accurate template, mail it off, carpet comes back. Call and ask a bunch of questions.
A little pricey, but good stuff is. I got the rubber backing, it comes with a bunch of 2or3 inch velcro fasteners. The Skater is cored and I didn't want holes thru to the balsa.

Who's crazier is still to be determined.
