Stick with the champs. Made especially for the 3 liter efi merc.

cc is what I use in mine @35 gap. The pp is a 300 plug. Don't know much about it. I'm sure Chris knows about it or he wouldn't have rec'd it. Maybe it's a platinum plug using the pp designation. cc is a regular copper plug.

Chris,
Which do you recommend for which application and what difference do you feel are in the plugs.
I always ran the cc's in my 250efi but now have switched to a 300 ign module. Should I upgrade to the pp plugs or are they just for the higher compression of the 300?

Not sure if the pp performs better at higher compression, but I'm pretty sure the plugs are interchangeable. The platinum tip plug stays cleaner at low speed. They might be worth the price difference if you run slow a lot and have fouling problems with the standard plug,in average use the cc plug does fine,Chris

the pp is recommended for the 300x gapped at .025. I run cc in my "modified" 250EFI never a problem gap .035
