Void is filled and solid...and all ovaled out holes filled.I soaked the dowels in penitrating epoxy then gave them a coat of peanut butter then installed them.It must be filled good seeing how the peanut butter came out the glass like it was going through a meat grinder.Lots more to do,but i am breathing much better.

You could drop down to a 1208 to make glassing a little easier in the tight areas. It's just a little bit more bendable. Just add glass till you get it built up to about 3/16'' thickness on the stringers and knees. Same for transom to deck joint. This would be maybe 3-4 layers of 1208 and 2-3 layers of 1708. Either will work. Did they sell you 10oz cloth? If so, it's ok for a starter layer. Just sand it some and keep glassing....

You may be surprised by the difference in the saturation time. The 1708 bi axial is dense fabric and takes some time and a good amount of resin to get fully wet out. Wet the surface, the back of the glass and on the top of the glass. Not to where it is dripping wet, but this way it gets fully saturated as quick as possible. A 3'' roller helps to wet it out and lay it down.

Well,if you ever need biaxial,it looks like this (different on each side)....and if you live here you have to drive a long way to get it...and maybe even have a snot nosed millennial guve you the wrong stuff. What was sold to me the first time ended up being 170g weave/corner tape.Lesson learned and ingrained. This place just cuts what you ask for and put it in a clear bag with no markings. The up side is,the manager heard the frustrated loud mouth new yorker in me come out (im not proud of it ) and he got me the right stuff, and gave me a few extra yards and refunded my money for the inconvenience.

Temperance my man. I too am trying to be calmer in the face of idiocy these days. People are so damn distracted all the time, seldom present in the moment with anyone. I like to be on, and focused, so the clash is sometimes pretty severe. To say I understand that last post is an understatement. Far from mint brother
