Now that I have gotten everyone's attention. I want to make one more very important point about photo/video "evidence".

This, while an extreme example demonstrates why cameras are unreliable at estimating distance.

The navigation aid in the background appears MUCH closer than it actually is.

Thanks Pete..... perhaps a few could have exercised better judgement in the Bay area..... it is a busy spot especially on the weekends.... but I have witnessed "local lib retards" do much worse in the bay over the years.... difference is you guys attract more attention because of the boat and in some cases the sound they make.... No question the Viper should have been slower, but the one with Brett being "reckless" is just off the charts absurd. I think we should stay out of there entirely on weekends. I wish we could get a better feel for how many support us, it's always the complainers who are the most vocal.

The STV did nothing wrong.... but it sounded mad and looked fast.... so it got the attention of anyone just looking to complain about anything they could..... I myself never do more then idle through the Bay..... and even with that i get dirty looks I assume because of the exhaust noise..... but who knows maybe they think I'm a "Romper" .....lol

Keep coming up Pete..... if you don't the vocal "local lib retards" will complain there's no fast boats on the lake... after all they have to complain about something!

Responding to this post because I heard a similar sentiment just before the weekend, from a cashier from Edinburg that understood what my Raindack Romp t-shirt was about. She said she and her husband looked forward to seeing all the boats go roaring down the lake.

I only understand a little of what all happened this year. I did see a video of somebody running at speed way too close to other boats that were floating.
