Had great luck with them. Pushed them to the limit and keep on going.

Ive rebuilt two etec's, done injectors in a few others. They seem to stand up to abuse pretty well. The etecs on the ferry by our cottage has 1060 hours, still running pretty strong with constant abuse.
Run the brp oil and good fuel and they seem to stand up nicely

I've heard really good things about the old Etecs. The new G2s seem amazing, a little heavy but technology wise, they are top notch.

Ran a 115 HO for 6 trouble free years. We replaced it this year with a 150 HO.

Keep them away from the saltwater and they’re ok.

The improvement in speed and economy going from a 100 hp cross flow to a 115 Etec was incredible. About 10 mph and way less gas. I use the Etec a lot more than my 225 Promax in a summer and use a lot less fuel.
