Victory Team pull out of XCAT Racing
By John Moore on 3rd April 2018
Powerboat Racing World can confirm tonight that 6 times XCAT World Championship winners, the Victory Team, have dramatically pulled out of the 2018 season with the first race in Fujairah just 8 days away.
The UAE based team have become synonymous with XCAT Racing, Victory have not only dominated the series on the water, they have manufactured the majority of hulls for other competitors and Dubai has heavily invested in the Championship.
When Powerboat Racing World recently reported that the ‘Boys in Blue’ would be competing their 2 boat, Class One team in the SBI sanctioned Key West World Championship this season, we hadn’t been alerted to this change of priority.
