Very true. They built race car engines for a few famous races in their shop in Farmingdale.
Good guys and friends. Always go out of their way to help.

Diamond Marine is legendary for a very good reason. Marty and Joe are not only among the best in the business, but great guys.

Marty sent me their programmable ECU, which was the very first reprogrammable, digital ECU for Mercury 2.4/2.5 engines, and it was made in the 1980s! Some are even still in service today. I was so happy to see this show up, and I consider it a very important piece of performance outboard history.

    Their work is true craftsmanship.

They've laid hands on my power head twice. Once when the motor was new (in 1992) and a few years ago when it was time for a rebuild. Great people to deal with and the motor has always run flawlessly!

I loved the pixs on their website of their Pro Stock cars from the day.

I made a comment to them one time of wanting to tour their shop and even knowing I'm an OMC guy they invited me down.
I screwed up and didn't go
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Marty told me they are working on some really cool stuff, and I can’t wait to see it. When I first moved to Florida, Marty and Joe invited me to their facility in Ft. Lauderdale. I was overwhelmed with how clean and organized it is, and being surrounded by the coolest components and engines in the business. First class all the way. I still have the photos from the article I did back then. I’ll post the, again because it’s a sight to see. Can’t wait to go back.

And I also want to jam with Marty on guitar. He has some amazing guitars!
