Houston Astros 2017 World Series Champions!!!

I haven't talked about it because I knew if I did they wouldn't win. In fact I watched tonight for the first time. Turned to the game in the 6th inning to watch the Dodgers get their one and only run. They were being shutout until I started watching the game. So I quickly changed the channel. Whew, glad I did.

I'm not a baseball fan but that was a hell of a series. Good for Houston!

It was a great one. Wanted to watch bad but it seems, I know it's just coincidence, the team I pull for looses most of the time when I watch. Oddly it's just the opposite if I go to the game. Plus The Astro's don't have the best post-season record. I really didn't wanna watch them loose the World Series.
They had an incredible season too and even broke at least one very old MLB records.

I'm not what ya call a huge fan. I watch parts of games on TV. I like to go watch them live, now and then, just can't find anyone who wants to go. I've got a brother in Houston and he's been to so many he doesn't like going anymore, he could use the company seats at the stadium for free.
For some reason my two brothers and my dad-R.I.P., are basketball fans and I really don't like basketball. Heck I really never liked playing baseball but do enjoy catching a game now and then.
I was lucky enough to be at the Astros game where Craig Biggio got his 3000 hit; that was cool.

Congrats to the astros fans that's been a long time coming and they did it the right way , drafted very well and the addition of verlander was a perfect fit , there gonna be good for yrs to come, young and talented, it's always nice to see someone new win !!!!! They made the guys at sports illustrated look like geniuses they predicted a couple yrs ago that they would win the World Series in 2017

Those that aren't familiar with the Astros players, the one she calls Altooee is actually Jose Altuve; pronounced Al-To-Vay. Not sure why she is thanking the city and county government I don't believe they are part of the Astros. And did ya catch what she said at the end?

I couldn't have cared less till I found out one of my pool playing buddy's son in law was on the team. Marwin Gonzales had Brad come to the games in Houston, has sent tons of Astro promotional stuff to our local kids, and made Houston fans out of a bunch of us. Really glad to see a good guy come out on top for once.
