So me and rj have been busy lately.Last night I put his v-4 mod 9 page powerhead on and ran it today just to see whats wrong? Well it ran 77mph on his mid and viper and on the aly same thing as my mod powerhead 70mph and that's it his was actually worse on top end???? WTF. Just pulled the motor off and it will get the 15 inch mid setup I first did to the boat 85mph with 26 merc cleaver. That is the only change I did was the 12 inch mid and tuner so putting it back the way it was and going to see if it the same as it was and use his merc 30 cleaver to get even more mph cant wait to see and than find out why.

I take it it's not getting enough water to the prop then, strange.
Be good to see the results. And is 5 grand all is doing ? Seriously !!!

Ken is just under the pad so plenty of water, prop is hooking up well (14" 30p cleaver). Both his powerhead and mine only got about 6k+ for rpm, Ken will confirm, but they should be spinning 7k+. For some reason the motors don't like that 12 inch mid or still need to play with the tuner length.

yes relieved and dry stacked.15 inch on and painted will mount steering bar on in the morning and the steering strings and its ready to to go for another run this time I expect 85-90 with rj's 30 cleaver and 7000 rpm like it had before and the sound with the 15 mid is the same or better,my buddy I built the boat for said it SOUNDS LIKE A BUNCH OF ANGRY BEES.
