    82D jet part number?

    Not in my manuals and cant find it in my notes.

    Any one have it?
    I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.


    I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

    Are you buying new or used?

    There are lots of OMCs sitting in outboard salvage yards. Each V4 comes with 4 main jets, each V6 comes with 6 and each V8 comes with 8, so there should be lots of jets available for little money...

    what has experience shown you re rough jet size and HP per cylinder assuming good bsfc?

    What Al wrote.

    I always pull jets out of old motors/carbs before off loading them.
    I think largest I've pulled though, were 72's.

    Powerabout thats tough because depending on how an engine is ported I have seen the same jet size flow a lot more fuel due to carb signal.

    A carburator jet reamer will take care of that.
