Pennzoil Premium Plus Price Hike

I went by Autozone today to stock up on their Mobil One oil change special for my cars. While I was there I noticed they had the one gallon Pennzoil XLF for $10. That's the cheapest I've seen it.

I do have 3 new gallons of premium plus I'd be willing to sell, maybe 20 a gallon, but shipping would be ridiculous i would think. . . in st cloud, MN if anyone local wanted it

I got the same think. It was posted $15.99 but at the regester he said $6 off and now down to $9.99 each gallon. I got all 6

That's a steal on xlf! Still never found good answers on differences between xlf and premium plus, just that I broke my last motor in on premium plus ��

Actually 4 were XLF and 2 were Premium Plus.

The premium plus was still 18.99 but the XLF was labeled at $10 even. Not a sale price. I've never found it that cheap. They only had 2 though.

So it just keeps getting better. I just left Autozone again and now they have $2 off marine oils. That puts the XLF at $8 a gallon. I walked out with 10 gallons for $88 after taxes. I should be good for a while.

Just got Penzoil Premium Plus for $19.99 delivered to my door from Walmart if that helps. Free shipping. Couldn't find it locally.

Coupe427, where are you finding all this??? I went to Gonzales autozone and they were out of xlf, and premium plus was $20.

Mike, I picked them up at the one on Airline across from Parkview. They had 2 on the shelf and had the rest in the back.

Here is the report from up North in CT. It's raining so I decided to chase a few Auto Zones after I left the office. The first one I went to had Premium Plus at $19.99 and gave me the $2 off per gallon at the register. No XLF so I went to the next closest. They had Premium Plus but only 1 gallon left of XLF and it would not read the SKU at the register. The Manager of the store came over and said that they were trying to eliminate XLF from the stores and he would enter it manually. It came in at $10.00. After all this effort I decided to not go to a 3rd store and instead I went to a pub and had a couple of Guinness. They were $7 a pint as a comparo.

They never said anything about getting rid of them. The price tag at $10 wasn't even a sale tag or clearance. It looked like every other price. Oh well, at least I caught it at the right time then and picked some up.
