Rumor has it that an exceptional boat, or a very long drive are helpful when the selection committee meets in the dead of winter in the middle of the night. Doing something REALLY dumb can also increase the chances (sinking your boat, running out of gas, having the cowl fly off because you forgot to latch it, etc).

One way to be certain NOT to get on, is to get to the dam first on Sunday. That policy created some overly competitive stupidness and was discontinued immediately thereafter.

Thanks to Haley and Ed for the GN rescue! Jack was bummed but, very grateful.
I'll say thanks to Pete for getting the event going but, I'm sure that is leaving many out so, my apologies as credit should go to all.

I know it's your first time here, a word of caution, don't get involve in shirt lobbying cuz the bunny gets real defensive and can't stand being pressured! Can't even be bribed [I don't think]! Great to see your pristine Hydrostream and the GN,hope you'll return!
    why ask me ?

really? The switzercraft, the beautiful green hydrostream and the v-drive did nothing for you? They might not have done anything stupid or insane but they are definitely shirt worthy!
