    cle case

    is the cle case solid cast aluminum or do they have filler in them like a bobs case
    86 valero yt 220 laser efi 86 so far 89 baja islander 5.7 v8 56mph

    All aluminum. However sometimes people will add a cone to a CLE because they are inherently too short for a V-hull, then of course filler is used to fair it in.

    My coned cle is 2-3mph faster on average than my sportmaster on my boat.

    If I am not mistaken the CLE has a stainless steel point on the cone. They are great cases with good internals. Would rather have a coned CLE than a Sporty any day.
