I'm guessing this is the way to do it if you are miles from the lake or tank and wish to make a day of it. Just seems overdone, wait to till you're at the lake tied to the dock

lol, that's the best way if ya got a ramp you can do that on. I just hook her up on muffs and let the stats regulate temp but I ain't messing with no one piece plate. Simple seems to work just fine for me, until crap srarts going south I'm sticking with what has worked flawlessly in the past. No since in trying to fix something that ain't broke

Well Fong , that depends how good a job ya did at turnin your carb 245 into a 175 ..

Just back it down and bury the prop . Even wide open it don't try to push the truck up the hill . Don't try to bust the park pawl in the trucks transmission . Not overly loud and the water looks like the bait fish are being hit in a feeding frenzy . If it hurts the bottom of your boat , you need to sand off that JC Whitney rattle can paint and shoot it with something with an activator ..
Best part is , it's really consistent . Once you get it tuned up , you can tell a healthy one from a pooch the first time you try to put one on the limiter .
You can buy brand new 14.5 x 19 aluminum quicksilver wheels left or right that take a flo-torque hub for a little over $100 . ( My first one was a freebee but no fat shaft or left ) I made a mandrel that fits the T-slot in my band saw , I just spin it around and clip the blades back . Mine are now 12.750 x 19 . They look funny , but they will choke a 250 EFI or opti to 1000 rpm less than the redline ...

I have a old prop that came on the first junk eng I got. So just cut some of the blades and it should be good to go then.
The chart you show is the specks for some different test wheels?
Let me ask this. Can you jet the eng using this set up?
Making full power runs and then shutting it off to check the wash down.
Would be a lot easier than trying to do it running the boat on the water.
I have already buried the prop in the muck with my fishing boat. There is a nice deep hole there now.
Will just make a chum slick for the gator to feed on.
You know that there is a parking brake on a truck now don't you.
Think the awllcraft 2000 will take a little beating on.

Gotta be careful what you say to an engineer , they take things quite literally ... I never laughed so &^%$$^& hard as when she opened this ....
