Messing round with boats is fun !! the learning never stops ,even after more than 30 years there's always something new happening somewhere ! BUT somethings never change and some problems never go away and just keep reoccurring !!so moved into Composite Forensics , Now that something completely new !!

Guys,I would like to keep this thread as a reference tool for the next person doing one of these,as my search in the archives produced nothing. It would be a BIG help if some of the posters, myself included, would delete most of the post and knock this back to four or five pages of reference that someone mite someday use.

    100%
With the exception of this post, I will delete all mine. Thanks for the well documented thread and outstanding job (as I knew it would be), I look forward to seeing it look and perform excellent in a few weeks

Damn Bob! Ya started this thread one month ago, a "caution" that had 96 days to the "Romparama"? Now done? The "Bunny" was with ya, and found that hat too! (Pete, yer such a lovable idiot, and my kind of people! )

On the build? Hmmm. Yep, raise that motor up think 2 inches and get the bullet at WOT, 1/2 in, half out water. Transom GoPro to see whats happening. Ran my XS surface, but a slapping 2 Blade and did a couple gear cases trashed..(expand the case, carrier has nothing to hold on off the foot, and ANOTHER SS prop and guts deep sixed).

On the "Turnbuckles" ? YES YES YES YES! Nice work!

On seats? Think it now as foot moved over, mounting. Make it comfy now to yer liking.

Thanks the thread, brings back me a chit house mems! But don't get stupid the easy stuff to fire again! My XS Swit had to go the doctor as did a "hole in one"..(#3 slug), Some how needed back water as fast fixed, gotta get wet! Had the Batt out. Put back in reversed from normal posts. Hooked the Neg to Pos. Pos to Neg next and POOF! Let the smoke out the brain box! "Why work this thing start" Its the little things that always get ya!

Wish the best..but ya ait off the hook .."UNTIL A VID THE BEAST.."that lives on". "Happy Trails to you"! And don't laugh that as W/E over back them days Fox Chain? Time for the party crowd to hit home. Me, Silly Billy, the girls broke into song and dance! Then the next ones leave?, here we go again! I was always the last man standing as worked 3-11 at work, clean up, lock up, leave morning 5am. And I even did a dance leaving!

Heck, ya guys hitting the Romp so do same....end the fun.."until we"........
