I had some of their stuff on my 21' Checkmate back in the early 2000's. IIRC, it had a Land & Sea jack plate on it when I got it. I added their dual control foot throttle. That was cool, you could use the hand throttle or the foot. Also bought the torque shift prop. That thing was pretty awesome out of the hole. I still have it. Haven't tried putting it on the Laser. I've been tempted though. I remember drooling over the dual plug heads and other stuff in their catalog too.

Had a few of their dual action foot throttles, liked them a lot. Had one of their jackplates and it never missed a beat, always like it because at the time it was the least amount of set back for a hyd plate. Used their solid motor mounts without a problem. I always wondered about those dual plug head though-guess that makes sence.

I REALLY wanted one of those vacuum assist exhaust dumps. Man, I would still use that on some things

L&S also had a turbo OMC crossflow. Hard to imagine how they kept pistons in it. Methanol I suppose.

some cool old stuff. Too bad technology keeps bumping things to the back page.

For the turbo you'd need the Balogna Slicer. Old Kawasaki fans may know what that is.

With todays efi and data mining technology one could build a pretty bad arse turbo motor. The crank seals were a big issue in the past. Hose it with some nitrous for a second off the line to get into the woosh.

Ski Doo used rotary valves till 2000, good for all out making power. Low speed manors not so good.

If you can make power at 9k plus then no much point adding the complication of rotary valves and no pipes to make it work and v engine rod slot cluster as well
