ln my opinion the stv s dont have the midrange hop like the mirages do...BUT the additional weight/torque/horsepower will enable you to drive through it much quicker....lol.................greg

Hmmm...see, my experience has been just the opposite, my STV had the hop and my Mirage doesn't...then again that doesn't mean either of my boats was set up ideally LOL. I figured the hop would be worse do to the weight, but the torque factor would compensate or over compensate...regardless I'm glued to this thread Originally Posted by RRRevinrude
