I take it , your policy of having the employees post pics as they work didn't go over too well ..
I'm booked pretty solid next week . But since you said "need" I'd be glad to help .
It's three hours over and three hours back .. PM me your credit card info so I can get an invoice started for the initial 6 hours ....
I hope you set this up with him already , it would be a shame to spend all that money just to have someone there to point to the sign ....

Yup , I guess we will all have to wait till "Noli-leaks" intercept's a few more of Mr. Pilini's e-mails ...

Till then , I hope they add a bit of height to the Motion / Z-28 cowl body line on the front deck .
Lower the windshield . Gotta sukk to be the one to deal with the ropes at the waterway cafe .
I give up , why is everyone adding "wheel tub humps" to all these new boats ?
Especially those that don't need clearance for inboards .

MTI seemed to have these "tubs" before others and now it is a DW style signature. I also wonder if the bustle has an impact on the aero exit of the tunnel.
The windshield is sitting about 5-6 inches up off the deck and the blue tape line on it seems to be a possible height idea as well. So the final could be drastically different.

The deck design of any boat is probably the most visible part that makes a manufacturer different from all the rest. Jay Pilini's 34 has definitely hit some design cues that would make his new 34 cat very unique. The deck will incorporate hatches that are very functional. The starboard hatch for instance will carry both the anchor and fenders. But besides the functionality aspect of it, the deck has some great new lines that reminds me of a sports car when viewed from the rear. Let's see what other design elements will be added to the deck while its being completed this week. Waiting anxiously for Jay's next set of pics and I will post asap.

When I asked Jay what materials he had planned for the 34 cat, he said "... I only put the finest laminates in my boats and no wood ". From the pic, they truly are high end components.
"First picture of a complete Pilini Marine 34cat... kind of... in kit form" Jay said.

Due to colder than usual temps in Clearwater, FL, Jay has been holding off on the start of his latest catamaran build. But today, the temps have warmed up a bit and Jay began the build of his new 34 foot catamaran speedboat. As previously noted in this thread, the quality workmanship and high-end materials going into his latest 34 foot craft will be shared to everyone. Pictured below is one of Jay's long time team member shooting the skin coat onto the newly built mold of the 34 XCS.
"...we will be powering the new cat with 400R motors" Jay said. I can't wait to see this offshore cat's performance numbers!

Always exciting shooting the 1st layer of material of many, many, more to come in the mold. Things like, will it release clean ? Will it pre-release? Come to mind. Oh crap, lets get it on and build this thing, NOW.....Best of luck with it!
