Anti-Trump Protest

Maybe Im missing the picture. I dont know what the purpose of these people protesting and getting arrested that Trump won the election. I"ll admit,if Hillary won the election I'd be pissed,but marching and getting arrested c'mon. People need to move on and deal with it.

And if you look at the age group who are protesting you'll see they come from the era of participation trophies and silenced free speech on college campuses. They aren't used to being told no or having to deal with outcomes they don't agree with.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Trump or Clinton supporter, just commenting on the protests.

My son texted me today that Cornell University allowed students today to attend a "cry in" to protest the election. Cookies and hot chocolate were to be served. SUNY Maritime today allowed students to miss class to celebrate the birth date of the US Marines with the following caveat. All of the days classwork, homework, must be completed and given to their professors by midnight. Im glad my son attends Suny Maritime where accountability and responsibility are taught.

They can't be protesting abut a "rigged" election or fraudulent votes... because they assured us in the days leading up to the election that that stuff just doesn't happen. LOL

I can see one of the problems that the "wusses" will have to deal with is that our new President and congress will change their ENTITLEMENTS!!! They just may have to learn how to support themselves. Speaker Ryan made the point that this was right up there with dumping Obamacare. Gary

Today I saw a list of "horrible" stories about people being attacked & assaulted by Trump supporters (which doesn't make any sense because Trump supporters won and are happy not angry) and of course they are coming up as phony story intended to provoke real attacks and protests:

As far as I am concerned. Until you start paying taxes, PAYING for your healthcare, buying your own groceries, paying your own car insurance, rent and/or mortgage you are still a child. That is who is protesting, children who are still under their parents veil. Its amazing how a young persons "ideas and values" change when these realities hit.

See what happens when you allow young people to vote......They are showing us that in this election, just like in everyday life, if they don't get their way then the "feel sorry for me tears" are first, and then frustration/anger starts pushing them to make even more poor decisions. We are not gonna live with their poor decisions any longer. Working women and working men that do pay taxes to live in this country have taken over the reigns and now have the task of getting the country great again. We have to toughen up our kids and get rid of this snowflake attitude. I know mine would never do any of this stupid crap. It would not be acceptable in our family.
