Yes they do! I had a ride in a Yellowbird clone around Limerock park many years back. It was screaming and flying, especially when the front came up in climbing turn Downforce was much more of a concept back then and the front relied on the low pressure created by the chin spoiler so when the front unweights it gets real light, real fast.

half mill+ for a 73 RS or RSR. My car's insured for 75K with Haggerty and it's a hot rod and no matching numbers on drive train, otherwise all original. Anything 73 and earlier ( swb, lwb- no impact bumpers) have gone through the roof. I got my car for 5K in 1998. A rebuild for an early motor is 25K and if you have a 65 swb with rust you'll get 150K. The picture of mine is a pano that looks like **** but I couldn't erase it for some reason

Cool thread. I've had several 911's over the years. But most mid 80's Carrera's, a few 944's including turbo version. Also a few 928's and a Cayenne in a pear tree. I've driven 1970's era 911's. They are a blast. There is a guy in Vancouver who builds RS clones. Might pick one up this spring.
