the 19 I had was the best handling high flyer I've ever driven, and most forgiving in the slop. granted I did not try to overpower it, just ring the **** out of it as rigged, passed a lot of "fast" boats in close competion. have a 77 17' I'm planning to run at Tavares in November with the same mindset, ring out as much as I can from setup instead of HP. anyway, at this event everything must be from the 80's or older, running 150 "towa" against 15' allisons w/same power, just counting on some sloppy water to let me "KEEP ON TRUCKIN"
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Fun--you bring that Action, and don't worry about rough vs, calm water and "keeping up"...remember, it's not a race, only an exhibition. We're there for the fun.

I owned a 19' ACTION with a 2.5 OFFSHORE modded, ran a 28 4-blade MAZCO to 91mph...best so fla boat I ever had...full interior , hyd steering, 4" jackplate manual...set it and forget it...perfect fit...it was a yellow one, ran great, sounded awsome...miss that boat alot, would buy another one for shure, have a V/8 CAT boat now, work in progress...the 19' ACTION was the CADILLAC of ACTIONS, super stable in snotty water, caried the load effortlesly, a true CLASSIC...thanks BARNEY!!!!
