    make me wanna keep mine!

i truly love this thing, it is big enough i can run the intracoastal and deal with 4' yacht wakes (try that in your cutesiy tri hull tunnel thingy) those bstrds don't even realize what a wake is there so busy spendin that 90's stock money in fuel and viagra. blast ass in a 2' chop and just tap dance, i just need mo powa, i'm sure it can handle whatever, just gotta have sense enough to back out for half a sec. to maintain your balance. i was told sitback would affect highspeed handling, the guys i ran w/big motors could get past me for a couple of secs but would have to backout as they got violently out of shape, i could stay hammerd down, my motor is 1" back on a manual jack plate, the way the outboard "wings" sort of trailing edges are about even w/ leading edge of lower unit gives sort of a nice balance. very forgiving while flyin, i,m refering to toys for tots last year when we ran wide open for about 10 or 15 miles turnin switchback left and right crossin boatwakes as i started at the back and passed at least 20 boats of all designs, some could pass me for a sec. then back out, but i held it w/o for the last 10 min and gave each and every one the TA TA salute, including one SAM BAKER sr.

    action 17, thats a roger

that was the most fun i've had w/that boat, maybe one of my all time top 10 thrills. and to think we were breakin the law. manatee schmanatee. when we stopped my lady could not stop giggling , i looked at her and saw a bug splat on her sunglasses. your rig is beautiful, i remember meeting you a few different places. lookin foreward to the next palatka event. i've got one of the first black maxes, 78 175 122cu in. 31hr on total rebuild. kinda a mid size motor these days. you would probably smoke my butt w/a 235. did you see that guy from ft laud w/orange 17 or 16 (not sure if there is a 16) everybody was sayin it was fastst rig there, i think a diamond mill, 120+ rig said at 110 all he could hear was water slappin then it got silent and scared the **** out of him (air baby!) thats too much for me, i just wanna learn to geta plane from a to b and maby some kicked up downhill skiin, that stuff i almost can't watch. see ya at palatka fun out.

    18 action lightning

I just took a 2.5ss 280hp off one of my actions and had been having a ball with it, I have been towing it behind my 50 Italia for a play boat,up and down the west coast.Just built another new one and rigging it with a modified Pro-V 200 dyno at 248hp and should have it in the water next week can't wait! Question

    John
No pictures of the 18 on the web site?
    What weight is it?
    Is it composit or wood?
    What type of resin?
    Thanks

Owned that boat for 3 yrs,ran low to mid 90s with a 2.5 245 horse carbed merc.Better ride then the Hydrostream Viper I had before, and very fun to drive.Seat time is key with these hulls.Have fun and be safe.
