28 Skater w/ 300XSs
Beautiful 1996 Skater 28 completely redone in 2012 (including the tanks). 2013 300XSs with the 2014 300XS powerheads off of my 28 that have only 65 hours on them, and are under warranty still until September of 2017. Sits on a 2012 Skater trailer that is also in pristine condition. The boat has only 46 hours on it since it was redone - was stored inside a temperature controlled metal building the entire time and never saw saltwater after the rerig. As you can see from the pictures, this boat is in great condition, and it runs as well as it looks. The first time out it ran 110mph with a 240 pound driver and my 150 pounds in the passenger seat - 50 gallons of fuel on an 85 degree day. It is spinning 14.5" x 34" Full Throttle 4 blades (look very similar to my Dewalds), and it cruises 90mph at 5,000rpm. The previous owner took the time to set this one up very nice, as it drives perfect. This is truly a turn key, don't have to do anything to it boat. Price is $100k firm, as you all know this setup will cost you much more if you try and buy a cheaper one and get it to this condition with XSs - especially with a year of warranty left on the powerheads! And for those wondering why it is being sold with the powerheads off of my 28, it is because it kicked the #3 rod out the side of the block of the port motor the first day on the water - just after we slowed from the 110mph pass. Yes, I was amazed as probably most of you are that it did that (fresh 91 octane and Merc Racing oil) - with only 45 hours on it - but as we all know, **it happens! And that should be a big part of the appeal for anyone looking at this 28 with Optis - this one is warrantied through next season!

I have interested buyers from Florida, New York and two from California so far. Yes, I'm certain this 28 will sell quick, as it's a very nice one with Optis, and there are no others for sale (haven't been for some time now). I talked to Pete today at Skater, and he said he has a backlog of orders for new outboard boats - guys are tired of the hassle and expense of their inboard boats.
