    sorry no pics but a customer traded in a 1975ish 40hp merc for a newer motor only gave him a few bucks for it.Well it ran but the water pump was shot. So lets just put a new pump in it NOT Well this lower unit would not come off with a 20l pound slege hammer fresh water here well after we cut a hole in the midsection and torched the driveshaft to get it apart we found out that the splines were stripped on driveshaft and in the crank so they tapped the crank and cut threads on the driveshaft and screwed it back together to never come apart again. Im not making this **** up theres no way you can come up with this ****

    Been way too busy workin 7 days( kids just got out of college I do work at)BUT I have started pullin the old powerhead and hope to get at it this weekend.     Had one today, you winterized my boat, took my battery out for the winter went to start it won't go. Tighten the battery connections and away it goes.
