Got the new motor installed on the laser and it ran great for 10 mins then dropped a cylinder. I had gas pouring out of the breather vents in the carbs. Hopefully can get it figured out before the romp!

Thank God! I almost flattened one last year or the year before. He tried to race me and I guess he didn't think my old bowrider would have much for him and he assumed I'd be way behind him when he cut across my bow and almost took it off.

Three months ago,I tell the wife of 45 years I'm going to New York with the boat in June for a few days.She says I dought you will make it,cause you won't be ready.Well I'll have you all know,as of today she is 100% correct! But the madness has started,Today was wash the boat,clean the boat,wax the boat,check the trailer! One bad bearing,****!put together a tool kit,start rounding up spare parts,oh crapp I'm gonna need fuel,gotta buy some cans tomorrow.The next couple days look the same,wash the truck,service the truck,load the truck,hope to hell it holds everything!Oh gotta track down a good bottle of scotch,just in case the truck breaks down on the way.Anyway Pete shut down the rain,and PM me a Phone # in case I need bail,or if by chance,I make it there and need to find you guys.Turns out the wife knows me pretty good.Oh forgot to mention tomorrow is get insurance on the boat,get a plate for the boat trailer,and a half dozen other things I forgot!
