Can't seem to find anyone (or get anyone to respond) that can make an original style 6" Lake X decals. Can someone point me in the right direction? Would like a few. Thanks!

thats like saying i cant wear my harley davidson shirt cause i dont own a harley lol... think at this point its just a memorabilia... us youngens didnt get the privileged to go there but have heard all bout it

I am concerned about this.....they still have the lake for testing.....we as the consumer should demand our s*** be dialed in there. If that doesn't work we could write a strongly worded letter like hillary would do.....squeaky liberals always get the grease..haha

It's still there, but Mercury has nothing to do with it. Mostly elementary school field trips, corporate excursions and Sheriff's summer camps are about all that happens out there nowadays.

Engine test center was in Boca Grande. Went there many times when selling marine hardware in the 70's. It was a very cool place too. Motors mounted to the sea wall and running wot till they blew, then dis-assembled and inspected for the point of failure. (redneck dyno's) Always saw boats running the local bay and gulf with 1 merc and 1 johnson on back till something broke. Yellow hulls of every kind looked like a pack of hornets buzzing around. They went out in some very rough conditions testing mounts etc while jumping waves. It is gone now too.....Those were def the good ol days.....

That is true, but it's pretty cool if people kept those "Dialed in" stickers really meaning that the boat was there. Just kind of cool, I think
