An outfit in the Netherlands now claims to be producing them from a set of non-original molds. Who knows. Its called a Phantom 21. www.LomwelOutboardRacing.nl

...In 1973, Jim Caldwell set the competition record, won UI, and won US1, in his UI Class, E & T Marine tunnel. Bill "Edwards" & Beale "Tilton" (the "E" and the "T") built quite a few tunnel class race boats in Lexington Park, Maryland...from 1970 thru 1975, approximately. Bill still resides in St. Mary's County, Maryland...and Beale retired to Coconut Creek, Fl. years back. UI Class was an unlimited single engine class(as long as it was available from the factory as an unlimited engine) of 80 to 89.99 cubic inch displacement, with no weight restrictions, and of any hull design...of which, most were in the 14' range. The most popular engines used were the Mercury 1000 BP & SBP, the Evinrude X-115, and the Johnson StarFlight SS. Jim Caldwell set his records with the Merc SBP.
