The 2 I regret selling were also my 2 favorites. 1969 Glastron 143 Jetflite red metalflake & white, 1969 Merc 65 HP. It was my first new boat, bought it from Dave Craig's Skyway Marine. I lived in Miami, been known to take that little sucker to Bimini . Ah, to be 10' tall & bulletproof again.....…The other was my 1983 Hydrasport X-270 bass boat with a 1983 Mercury 150 Black Max. Gray metalflake deck, white hull, red carpet with red metalflake hydrasports lighting bolt, with a Proplate 8" set back manual jack plate. Mild mods on the engine, 175 carbs, Boysen reeds, high speed spark advance module, Bob's low pickup nose cone, shaved heads & "better" tuner. Not sure on the last 2, they were done by Gus McCreachrin (sp?) a Miami boy that ended up setting up shop in Tallahassee. Merc big ear 24p chopper done by Ron Hill's shop, told him what I had, what I wanted out of the prop. Ended up with a 25 1/2p wheel that I could spin 6200-6400 all day, rode like sitting on the couch. That boat was always stable with any prop I tried, but the chopper that Ron did was a dream, good hole shot, excellent fuel mileage & ran mid to upper 70's depending on load. Caught a lot of fish (& my 2 biggest bass 11 lb 4 oz & 10 lb 9 oz) & had a lot of fun with that boat.

    Here are two of mine.

The white boat with a wakeboard tower was a Taylor Custom Stiletto, modified tunnel. It was a father son restoration project. When we bought it, the boat was all black inside and out. That doesn't work, so we gutted it, pulled the rub rail, capped it, painted it and enjoyed it.

The other one, I built using Glenn-L plans in the early 1980's. 21' daycruiser. It was 1971 big block with nitrous and a Stern power model 105 outdrive, with a borg warner transmission. We really enjoyed that boat.

Great looking Taylor....Not a lot of those around any more.

This one will be my next resto after the CVX-20.

    1985 21' Linder Shadow Twin 260 ROS

Got this from ChrisM. LOVE IT!

It is a 1985 Year model on the title but the boat was actually manufactured in 1984 when Linder and Luhrs still built the Shadow's and Chris owned it since 1987 and always stored it inside. TONS of work time and custom mods and fabbed parts in this boat. Chris is obviously a perfectionist and I am very happy to have the privilege to own it now. Getting closer to mint every day. Worked 5 hours on it today, scrubbed out and squeaky clean. Awesome machine, LOVE it!
