Hi!
Never get tired of the Phantom 25. Its a 1985 model and its only a handful left of them. This one I have been lucky to own since 1998. Originally made for offhore racing with twin Merc XR2. Imported in 1985 by the Ugland family, known for Offshore Class One racing.
Have done several engines on her, from Johnson V8 3.6 GT, Promax 300 SVS, 2 x Merc 2.5 EFI SS SVS and now Vrod 350 Sci. Soon a Vrod 400R on it

Hi!
Thanks. The boat runs very flat, typically offshore set up. So you will find faster 25 footers out there.
Johnson V8 3.6 GT: approx 76 mph
Promax 300 SVS: approx 76 mph
Twin x Merc 2.5 EFI SS: approx 87 mph
Verado 350 Sci: approx 82 mph
I expect the 400R with the Sportmaster LU to push it to 86-88 mph. The boat is only 5,5 feet wide, so its a balancing act!

For sentimental reasons, my dad's PowerCat that he owned before I was born, and the 1977 Avenger w/ 200 Black Max (later a 225 powerhead) I grew up boating in. Also pictured is still one of my all time favorite boats - Stoker 20 with what was at the time (1983 I believe) a 2.4 Bridgeport.
