Good to know. I'm excited. Having a bunch of stuff done to it at Valley Motorsports in Eagen, MN, just to clean it up. New gauges, carpet, and moving the rear seat forward two feet. Should be awesome when I'm done. Can't wait to drive it.

Nice motors. So how does Simon squeeze the extra 10hp out of the 300X? What type of mods? ECU, exhaust, intake, compression, other? Just wondering.

I believe its a combination of larger throttle bodies(3.8 inch bore compared to the stock 3.5 inch)and billet fuel rail, ECU upgrade, 7500 rev limit, lightened flywheel, custom heads with removable chambers. Mine came stock with 64cc chambers to be able to run any pump gas. These were originally built for a 21 foot Liberator. I'm now running 100LL, so I have room to bump up the compression. The nice thing is that its easy to switch back at anytime. Eric Simon also installed the Taylor 15" mid sections using all factory parts. They turned out to be too much for the Liberator and found their way onto this 24 Skater.

The 25 Liberator has the same bottom as the 24 Skater. Mine has stock 300XS motors and runs just over 114 on the limiters with 34"x15" Mercury labbed cleavers. It still ran 112 with four guys and 50 gallons of gas.
