    Less 13 lbs, but it includes the jack plate so roughly -30 lbs pending on the plate. There is way more to it, you can get deep into the 200's. But it gets spendy

    When you say deep into the 200's, are you saying the total weight of the entire engine is in the low 200 # range? 100 #'s lighter than Eric's?

    Not a hundred pounds but you can get significantly more off of it. Mid to upper 200's if you have the resources and before somebody sends me a pm, no I'm not telling how

    I'm watching the debate and poking around S+F and basically bored so I decided to drag this interesting older thread back TTT. Asking the question about full motor weights.
    Can anyone tell me why my 280 clamp bracket tag says 375 lbs while this other one says 401 pounds? They are both 15" motors. The SN#'s are awfully close as they are both MY 2005's.
