What a beautiful day it was down there. The Actions dropped in with us at Caribbean Club but ran North to calmer water since the wind was ripping out of the southwest. We went down to Tiki with a friend in his Mirage. He hugged the coast and we just ate it up. Ran into a few guys down at the tiki including a superstar with a 24 Skater. Not a cloud in the sky today, and we followed said superstar back at close to 100mph for about half the way back. I've got some pics and video I'll post up tomorrow night.

Had a blast tony I dunno what happen to all my action brothers but the missed that sweet ride weather was awesome perfect for the v hulls we ran the shoreline all the way down and up in the mirage ripped a 100mph few times Brian the skater looks awesome brotha she's a clean one and u know the superstar showed up and gave us youngsters some good laughs good times with good ppl can't wait for the keys run just need to finish up boat so I can run with the boys tony I got some vids I'll send u so u can post

I'm a little confused....if you're referring to any of the videos I just posted they were on the Bay in the Florida Keys. I don't think I've ever run my boat on a lake.

Hey guys, I am a newbie here I was searching for boating events in Southeast Florida and I came across this thread. I currently live in Chicago but will be moving down to Pompano Beach, FL with my wife to live at the new Sabbia Beach Condos building there in the spring and I'd love to attend some racing events with the missus (she is kind into it Could someone give me some more info on the subject, are there some annual events that are generally worth going to? Thanks!

Welcome Mark! There are a few annual events that take place year round. One of them is the Action Marine Run in Key Largo (not just action marines) I think around May. Then there's the poker run that's coming up next month from Miami to Key Largo. There's also River Ranch that takes place twice a year. There might be one or two I'm missing...
