Ah, understood, thanks for clarifying. This is all kinda confusing.

So can all the people that failed message me there specific gravity read outs? The gas that we gave was straight out of our NEW 3 gallon tank only hours after we put fuel in it. We do not pre-mix so our fuel should be the baseline. Have they done specific gravity tests before this race or just digitron read outs?

I am not a racer but was at Jasper and the only common problem that I saw that could change fuel was the VERY HIGH humidity that was present Sat. and Sun. mornings till about noon. My question is could transfering fuel from one container to another during those times have caused a problem? Don't know just puttin it out there. Gary

I see what you are saying and if that was the problem(moisture gettin in fuel) I would think that would be very difficult to deal with. Sucks seeing you guys that put so much into this having something out of your control DQ ya! Gary

Something different this year from last year.. Last year Im pretty sure I remember the gas coming out of drums, this year right from the truck. Doubt that had anything to do with it but just putting it out there.

If I am correct they use specific gravity... Please correct me if I'm wrong! (Would be the same as when we raced snomobiles) Gary

I have attended Jasper for many years, some of the best heads up racing around. Someone from ODBA has to have some answers to this problem, if not I have a feeling the racers will get real tired of this, and will not return. Do the right thing ODBA officials and step up and address this problem now.

I've said it on other threads, FB and I'll say it here. I personally know many of the racers that got DG'd. And I would place my neck on the block that they do/did not cheat. But most all of them feel they have been labeled a cheat and are extremely upset about it. Some to the point of going as far as Not racing ODBA again and even selling their boats.

It's something that only the ones that got DG's can get resolved and they will have to band together in concert to get resolution and results. But in my many conversations with some of these guys and based on the testing specifications standard as mentioned in the link below. Many that did DQ shouldn't have been. To fully understand the proper testing procedure you need to read the link completely.
