I just want to say, this has been a super interesting thread. As others have already mentioned, competition among manufacturers IS good for the sport and the idea of using larger displacement engines to comply with ever increasing emission regulations is a visionary move IMO. I just hope it isn't "too little, too late" to save the two stroke outboard. Mad respect to those willing to tackle the challenge of designing parts to move this technology forward btw. You guys are the real heroes. Keep it up!

Yes, I run a stock L2 at the moment and works ok so I have just nodded an old m1 case to see how it works. Them I'm going to build an m2 with lwp. Still look at options on those. Bob's or imco at the moment but liked the look of Brett's cone.

M2 will probably hurt you even with a cone. I modded mine by drilling in to the water cavity on the cone from the bottom and blocked off the six factory holes above the bullet. Also plugged the factory pickups. The case is huge feels like your dragging an anchor until it gets on top.

Sheeeat I came down with my Bridgeport to race him and they tried to make me run pro gas must have scared of an old 2.4 lol all in fun. You have have to give Brett and George alot of credit, Brett took the ETec to places BRP never could have or cared about. I think it's time to free RacerX, for god sakes times have change you have same sex marriage gays in the boy scouts giving and military as well as nukes to Iran how much worse can X make things. I hope ALL you guys make it to Albert Lea you guys are a blast.
