Lots of questions. Is there anything new?Is this factory or an individual effort? Someone's gotta know?

We went down there and raced river racer. I thought we did alright considering it's basically a stock motor with 16" mid.

yeah we just went to see where we fit in really.... learned a bit too. plus i was 50+ lbs over the weight. It would have been nice to race the long track as well but we didn't have a class we could fit into.

Getting ready to tear down a 3.3 225HO Etec soon. Lost compression on one hole and low on the other five... Looking for power, like everyone else. Just got an email back from DBR and they have been too busy with other projects to move forward with the emm programming. I know the EPA can come down hard on some of these tune shops, but its hard for me to believe that with this many guys looking for an upgrade for their DI systems, nothing has come about. The "detuned" etecs, like the 135, should be able to run maps of larger hp motors(in their specific bore/stroke group), given a supplied serial number for a larger motor.. Then change the injector c/e to match what is currently on the motor. It would be interesting to see how much more fuel is available from trying to run a 3.4 map. It would also be awesome for people with the ability to store / upload maps to share them with other techs. I work for a dealer and to get a tune for a motor you have to jump thru some hoops, and nothing "modified" is tolerated per EPA and their policy. With no factory backing and no big shops pushing hard for development, it will probably take a group effort and some geeks locked away in a basement to get anything started.
