Yes, Chaz, my 30 is the same one that famously went over at the poker run in '06. When you hit something submerged and knock a drive off one side at 130+, **** gets a little out of control and sometimes you end up on your head. Steve also put the K over at Burley last year, so what's your point? No matter what I post, you're always going to have to get a dig in on me - I guess that's just what crotchety old men like you do. But just as I've called you out in the past when you talk **** to me, what makes you so great and what boats do you own??? Good luck with your project guys and stay safe.............

Come now , dont be mad ... I was under the impression you enjoyed my sense of humor ...

You pretty much summed up what I have been saying all along .. Your 28 is special , your 30 is the first , and special . He11 according to you , even your crash is famous ..
Know why you don't know what I have , cuz I don't stand on the mountain and yell , look at me .. look at me ..!
Your are right though , Rick started this thread to showcase the team that he has put his money behind to reset the world outboard speed record . If he was worried about someone seeing and learning something , I doubt he would have started the thread and put everyone on a strict no pictures diet . Not that kind of guy , he want's everyone to feel like they are part of this adventure's success ... my bad for recognizing your masked insults . You would think that after hangin at race tracks for over 40 years , I would know better than to chirp back at the rail birds squalkin from the fence ..

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Chucked part of a blade this am. My guess is that it was doing a little more than just trolling.

I tried cooking , ate more than I sold .
I tried paintin , got more on me than the walls.
I tried teachin school shop class , they wanted the PS-3 version.
Ya can teach a monkey to weld .... they never told me I'd have to do it up side down , down a hole , around a corner , left handed , using a mirror to see .. see bro I gotta be stupid to want to do that ...
The kid , has his first competition weekend after next . Mr. Florida took him under his wing the last few months .. 4% body fat .. gettin ready for the big cut ..
Like I told ya before , ifin ya need ta thaw out , you can stay in the motorhome if ya want ...
It's G-moneys turn , but if we don't wanna starve , one of us is gonna hafta buy ..

I just dug thru your video's on youtube regarding twisted. It does not seem launch very clean. Looks like a ton of drag until it can get the rear up. Not sure you can fix that with the current planing surface? Being a small planing surface in the rear and the outboard weight being so far back vs a V-drive its hard to clean it up quick.
That boat might just be specific for top speed records. Make it do one thing well, not juggle a bunch of different jobs.
Stay safe,
