I just briefly read this thread but I ordered mine last year through the S&F discount group buy, but I was 1 day late. They went ahead and honored the price and were great to deal with! Not saying they will for anyone else, but if you call them and be polite they might!!

Cool that you got yours ordered, but you should actually have until Tuesday (for anyone else interested in ordering yet).
Special pricing ends June 16th, 2pm Pacific time.

I just spoke with lifeline, they were at the race on Friday, but they believe approximately 3 more orders came in on the phone, they will be getting those processed and making a return contact. Thank you to those who called. We have about a day and a half left, so if anyone is on the fence, you still have a little time. Thanks again to everyone who has supported this effort.

Today is the last day if you want/need a jacket at the discount rate. 2pm Pacific time is the cut off. I want to offer a huge thanks to those that have ordered and may still do so.

Ok, I'm going to make this short and sweet. The order total was 9. Exactly what went wrong, I don't really know. Fortunately they are not going to hold me responsible for purchasing more jackets. Unfortunately, they are not prepared to offer any more discount group purchases from the S and F guys. If I represented our group wrong, I apologize. If you were not sure you could commit or only under certain conditions, maybe you should have responded in kind with those concerns. Personally, I have learned a valuable lesson or two, which I will now carry with me, so it wasn't all for not.
Thanks to Lifeline, they are going to make sure those who did order will receive their discounted jackets and they hope you are happy with the jacket and price. This was a sincere statement and I assured them they are appreciated.
A big thank you from me to those who did order, and for those that did not, I'm sorry it didn't work out. Mine should be here Wednesday, glad I got it.There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing. –Aristotle

Quinten Thank You for all you have done!!! I agree with your assessment that a lesson has been learned! I am very supprised with the # of orders BUT we now know that Lifeline is a co. that SHOULD be used by S&F members in the future. Again I am greatful for the deal you have provided for we that took advantage of and have increased our safey in a obsession that we love!!! Gary

Just so I'm clear, they certainly indicated they are happy to make and sell a jacket to anyone and everyone. They do not have a negative opinion about myself, Scream and Fly in general or any one specific person. They do have a negative taste about the results of my efforts. They told me, IF they were to ever do it again, the minimum would be 25 jackets and production would not start until all orders were placed and secured. I don't blame them at all for that. Anyone I was able to help, you are certainly more than welcome.

Thank you Quinten for your efforts. I was able to take advantage of the deal you worked out and am very greatful for the savings. Unfortunately my pregnant wife asked me not to order hers because of sizing issues, so I will have to pay full price for hers when she is ready. Thanks again.

I would have been in if not for the paying over $ 0.23 on the dollar thing. Think I was pretty clear on that and then was going to buy anyhow till a couple friends woke me up.

If someone tries again need to see the money first or nothing happens. Was awesome for Lifeline to honour the deal even with less than the minimum.
Thanks again for tryin Quinten, you rock.

I bought two 160 vests on njj502's deal last year, and a 170 this time on Quinten's, dollar be dammed there's one coming north of the border on this deal. Only nine total? there are three on this page alone, hard to imagine only 9 total? Too bad really.
