Mr fun, not sure if you are speaking to me directly, but they offered about an 8 day window for the group purchase. That was not up to me. I asked for interested parties, they responded, I in turn told lifeline I had interested parties that would like to purchase if they cut us a break. So, they did, on their terms. If it doesn't fit your needs, there ya go.

Glenn, you can certainly ask them cant hurt, but just FYI, I asked them specifically if a member could pay an upgrade fee to choose another color. I asked because yourself and at least one other person noted the color they would like. Their response was, loosely quoted, production runs for the group discount will be in orange. I'm curious what they say. Let us all know please.

Dave I without a doubt believe your reason for not ordering is more than valid. The Exchange rate for you would be $123.00 Canadian Dollars to every $100.00 US. So no matter how you slice the pie you would be paying more than retail even with the discount!!!!! That's just making a good economic decision right now.

That being said I am paying $.20 on the dollar and will deal with it. All the rest that said they were in better buck up, to make you and S&F's name bad with a business like Lifeline is not cool. You did your job based on peoples words. So all the talkers need to show some action.

Yes your true Bud. Gota be smart and wait till next time. The fact I just ordered $ 560.00 my cost worth of updated voltage regulators for the Pro Max has kinda made me back off for now.
Its to bad but reality is what it is. Thanks for the good advise guys.

I'm not trying to step on Quintens toes here by any means. But I just got off the phone with Lifeline because I didn't see my card had been charged?? And They told me only 5 members have actually ordered out of the 24 originally confirmed. They are not happy campers. My Jacket will ship today!!! And one was shipped yesterday. The other three are on hold waiting for the rest to call in and order so they can do a decent production Run!!! Only makes sense to me.

    SAD Very SAD Indeed

I hope you guys step up soon or this will turn out to be a slap in Quintens face as well as Screamandfly.

I was gonna hit the like button then I realized I like the fact that HStream1 said it but not what he needed to say! I hope we can at least put together 3/4 of the order so future S&F members will have this opportunity also as Bud said. I feel this may be more important than the discount!!! JMO Gary

Well I just tried to buy pink for wife and black for pops.. Explained I'm a s&f member and that I've bought 5 170s and this would make 7. They told me basically to f off nicely I can get orange only. I asked if customer is king and well I guess not.. I'll be paying full price
