Leave with this. I was in Nam 69/70 the went to Germany before ETS. 1971. General admission somewhere there and 5 bands playing. I simple picked up my feet and got CARRIED in the crowd doors open and "grab a good seat!" I was SO wasted after the 4th band as ya brought yer own in..think BYOB. Bottles wine passed down, hash bowl pipes coming and pass it on..(don't worry as one more coming soon and ya went home someones pipe, and someone had yours!) The last band! Deep Purple! Sure as hell woke me up! WOOF!

And I took my jeep for 4 us to get there, as its was "mine", as Battalion Welder! Somehow I got us back to base, but forgot just "how"! Fun times, and lived!

OK, Neil Young has turned into a "zombie"..but saw him many times live. Couple vids here and the last reminds me 1970, out of Nam now in Ft Sill OK. There was a crowd there the small party lake at dark later. Just out Nam, hit Mescaline, couple white cross, and a bottle of "Ripple Pagen PINK!" Many thoughts running through my head "no more war". But I was home "again!"
