After Nam I ended up in Germany late 70/71. And although never saw the Who live, I had a big poster above my bunk.."Live at Leeds". When I hear this it drags me back as now out Nam there, it was way WAY to much drinking German beer and wine, Hash, and LSD. Simple great times me..(I think, but didn't kill me either though even if I remember little anyway as like they say.."if ya remember the 70's? Ya weren't there! But I did see a all day indoor concert with 5 bands there, and Deep Purple was last. "Stadium setting and general admission" Then ya brought in your "coolers", and passed around was "pipes" too. Richie Blackmoor was a wild wound up..simple great! (what I remember anyway!)

Also as on "drumming tonite", I remember "Inna Ga da Vida" came out. No more 2 minute song now, but 17 minutes. Had the 8 Track for the ride, and took up the whole tape! AND! In Germany, as prostitution legal many the simple state controlled simple big ass "hotels" were $20 bucks a "romp"..( ya picked the girl bottom floor, and to the room) Time limit? What else, 17 minutes..Inna gada da vida put on! What more another $20 and play it again Sam!
