I think its like 3-4 psi...not suppose to be more than ~6 psi for carb motors with the pulse pump...

I was surprised... this is directly out of the Mercury factory service manual.....

    Specifications

    Fuel Pump Pressure @ W.O.T.
    Maximum – 10 psi (69 kPa)
    Normal – 8-10 psi (55 - 69 kPa)
    Minimum – 3 psi (21 kPa)

    Fuel Pump Pressure @ Idle
    Normal – 2-3 psi (14 - 21 kPa)
    Minimum – 1 psi (7 kPa)

NOTE: Electric fuel pump pressure, if used in conjunction with engine mechanical fuel pump, must be limited to no more than 4 psi (27 kPa).

Kinda hard to make an electric pump do that huh?

Fuel pressure regulator would do that with no issue. Only reason I see for using both would be if the fuel tank was mounted in the front of a long boat as the pulse pump would not be strong enough to pull it out of the tank.

Gotta be careful when using electric pumps and oil inj. More than 4 lbs and it will back fill the oil system with fuel. Not good.....

I meant regulating it to 3 psi at idle and 8 psi at wot.
