Class 7 is going to be great next year-we should have at least 10 boats, possibly 12. Kevin from Fuller's Marine captured the picture that Johnny posted in post 1392-this picture is the definition of Class 7/SOB racing!!!!!
    I stand corrected
Not being in this class is killing me...its the perfect class! Can't wait to see 10+ boats out in it next year

What prop are you running with the 250 etec. I am running a 225ho etec with a tropy 27 at 75mph on gps motor mounted flat on the back with one more hole too move up. I was offered a 250ho from a friend who is selling his boat and was wondering if swapping a 225ho for a 250 ho is worth the work. Any advise would be appreciated.

Took 95lbs up front to make it a good ocean boat with a 3.0 on the back though...ended up flying nice!Attachment 287327
Great picture. Looks like the perfect setup.

i guess so with all the teak for the windshield mounts and transom pieces , i didn't think cabins came on the step boats but here it is. I had an 87 before that was a regal, the gel coat had hairline cracks all over the it and the deck never was fit right on it. here a pic of that 1

Original is right. 1984 was the first year of production for the 22's. Someone has stored that one inside, for a very long time. I remember building it at the Pompano plant. Congradulations on a nice find.

Northern, your boat would look even better with a class 7 number on it! Congrats on the new boat

Im seriouly thinking that also ... Have a lot of good parts saved up for it SM Jack plate, small set back box and maybe even a promax powerhead. It needs a floor and transom. Anyone have a side mount steering system for a 2.5 for sale . Latham, Hynautic, marine machine. Save me # 733
