The Triad is going! Hopping to see a Shouting Star there. Looking to see were some of the lines the Pipkorn Wildcat came from.

If you ran the pump, and shut it off while the outlet was under water yes it will siphon back into the boat. The hose is full of water, the outlet is under watrer, and the water in the hose "falls", drawing in more water. Doesn't take much water to affect the time to plane - water flows back and makes it even harder as the bow rises. There is a duck bill insert you can install in the hose connection at the pump to help prevent the siphoning. I do agree however you have a weight distribution issue that needs to be corrected. Until that is done, don't run your pump until after your on plane (outlet above waterline to prevent back siphoning).

Man that YT is beautiful!
So are the rest of the boats, but that color scheme, and the gloss is fabulous!
pointer - way out on the east coastYou guys have noo idea how badly I wish I lived closer!
Thank you for sharing your pictures, and alllowing me to read your comments and bantering. I've been addicted to hydrostreams since I saw my first one, late 70s. I hope you all know how absolutely fabulous it is to see a group of people who do such a class act of enjoying thier boats, friends and time together. You are truly fortunate.

Thanks for the Advice guys. Friday i installed a new auto bilge by Attwood. 500 gph. Tested it and it shot out like a snot rocket, so i felt comfortable with my install and decided to take it out. I did notice the hose was ran a little goofy, so i looped it nice and high inside so it would stay above waterline. We took a picture of it in the water, and it definitely sits higher than it did before, but my splash well hole and bilge hole still sits under the water line by a hair. But it was really comforting removing the plug and only a couple of ounces of water coming out.....
Just hope im not covering up a bigger problem.
