Jackie: You sound like the Queen Mother chewing out Prince Charles. I have to say you are a master with words.

Say what you want Little Red looks good. I haven't seen it since 1976 when Packer picked it up.

On another note I was up at plant 33 running a couple of boats today with the new Joy Stick Piloting controls and was looking over the old race and carpenter shop and it really brought back memories. No one there has any idea what went on there over thirty years ago. A little sad.

Michael dear boy, another example of the total misuse of the English language by the colonials----( ie rubber and eraser, fanny does not mean rear end , etc,)
"chewing out"-----could be taken for "blow job"---so the mind boggles at the thought of the dear old QM who has been pushing up daisies for 12 years, giving H.R.H. P/C a B/J----no----I cannot begin to imagine the sound.

You are such a smooth talking bugger, "just running a couple of boats with the new joystick controls"-------as in when I used to fly heliochoppters for fun?.

well remeMber plant 33, November 1970, to walk from one building to another, meant going outside, this entailed donning full snow suit, gloves and goggles.

First time in my life I knew what 20 below meant.

Morning Mike, You going to elucidate on the "new mercury joystick controls"------------we ALL know about the regular "joystick", but lots of us old timers are just itching to know about the new one
Only Mercury could make capital out of the joystick, but i suppose, on reflection, all laptops and gameboys and kids games have one.
Trust the merc. publicity machine to latch on to to "joystick" and make it their own---------just like they did with "BLACK".
Beware Butler, thou dwellest amongst deep and devious carnivorous multitudes who use dark and devilish means to ensure the well being and high esteem of the by now legendary product----------MERCURY !!!!!!!!!!! OLD MR. K. even nicked [borrowed] that from our solar system, one smart fellow, what ?

SOOOO!!!! According to your reckoning------Throttle men and drivers are surplus to requirements.
In reality just turn the F1 boats loose ---minus crew----and you got slot racing, nobody get's hurt and no more adrenalin, everyone stays home , drinks beer in front of the LIVE tv showing of an event,-------and whoopee doo sh-t----that's progress i suppose.

Can't say i watched much animal racing since the goat boat of Jimbo-----then the camel boat of James Beard, and lets not forget Mercury's wonderful "Rhino" !!!!!!!
Is it the camel or the kid that's remote these days---------if it's the kid then it could be the end of children as we know them. Just think , pick your kid off the shelf at Publics, if it turns out to be a horrible little sh-t, just chuck it away and go back down the store and get another. Surely to Murgatroyd---- that's the way to go !!!!!!!!!

http://www.graeters.com/ I believe the brand actually started in Cincinnati...and migrated to Columbus and other nearby locations...it is now available in many states including NJ....and it's certainly better than any ice cream coming out of GB.......

On the other hand....she wore a glove.

Now back to the Jackie Wilson sitcom. In this episode Jackie wakes up with a crick in his back and blames the OMC Rotary program. His trusty neighbor and straight man, Will A. Bea, suggests an old indian cure and both men set out in search of an old indian.
