Lightspeed, the boat was in Conn before Virginia. I can see the shadow of the old CT registration numbers in the black gelcoat!

Thats What I Thought,,,,I Knew It Looked Familiar ,,If I Remember It Was Set Up With 20 Inch Motors On Those Brackets,,,That Was A While Ago ,,,,

Day two..I swapped my 2.4 powerhead from my 20" mid onto my High Performance clamp and 25" mid! Ran into a minor problem..I have to install longer studs on the powerhead to reach through the high performance adapter...

Cool Boat! I looked at one of these years back at the Annapolis boat show. I converted a 25' Seebold from single stern drive to twin OB a while back. Had a blast doing the conversion, and we very pleased with the outcome. Good move going to 25" legs, keeps the powerheads out of the water coming off plane. I used internal trim mids to eliminate the pumps and hoses in the boat. Keep the thread going with updates and pictures!

Hey Pat!! Yeah, there's still a bunch of guys running Streams, STV's and Allisons. Charlie has moved on to a 21 Skater, Capt. Steve has a 21 Trick, and there's a couple of 24/28 Skaters..

The boat in the garage is a 1997 21' Checkmate Pulsare Longdeck that I have for sale.

Longer studs are ordered...working on a 2nd 1-piece stack adapter for my 2nd mid section....and yes, I've never had to buy a left hand prop!! lol But I do have a left hand Merc chopper 24 laying sitting in my garage...

This was Wild Bills Express. The vinyl graphics were put on by a previous owner because the gel on the sides had faded and you could still see the outlline of the lettering. Boat came from Cleveland, Tennessee to Virginia.

Hey Lin, you can see the shadow of Conn registration numbers at one time in the black gelcoat by the rubrail...do you know who had the boat in Conn?? By the way, thanks for all your help. My wife and I are really excited about this project. My years of working with Fountain and at Active Thunder Boats will payoff in this restoration....the ideas bouncing around my head keep me up all night!! lol
