Unless there's someone on s&f that has a similar boat, you're going to have to get it wet and try it out. then post peak rpm, top speed, holeshot ,engine height, prop pitch/style, and setback. With that info we can tell you how to tune in you setup.

GT-20’s like round ear props and they like the prop down in the water. As stated start at an inch or inch and a quarter with 26p prop. Depending on the condition of the hull bottom GT-20’s run with their nose in the air. Be careful letting off the throttle quickly at speed they can get squirrelly. 7in. set back should be fine, mine is 8in. You will need to keep weight on the port side when running solo with side steer. With this setup you should run in the low to mid 80’s. Once you’re comfortable with the setup play with raising the prop and try all the props you can find. Good luck.

the engine is a little better than stock, not much work done, just reeds, and big bore carbs. I plan on mounting the battery on the port side to help with weight distibution a little. i have a 26 chopper that was modified to a 28, i might try that first, but i do have a stock 26 chopper i could borrow from a buddy. thank you for all your input guys
