Went out for a shakedown run today! Boat performed absolutely flawless. Between the Blueprinted Bottom From ROBF and, RONNIES gearcase magic the Boat felt like it was on rails! Full of fuel with My buddy Eric (87starflite) riding shotgun we ran this..
Not too bad for the first pass in over 9 months! This is faster then the boat has ever gone before weighed down like it was. I am very pleased with the new setup overall!! Have a happy easter everyone.
Around the 4:00 mark in this video is where we were running 79 and change

Ronnie- Taking care of my gearcase

Mike I made that speed at 54-5500 rpm, hoping once i ditch some of the fuel and the passenger i will be able to loosen up a few more rpms. I dont have ameasurement for engine height but I ran the jackplate up until i lost water pressure and then dropped it down a touch, I believe i was around 15-18 psi when i settled in.

Looked real good Mike. Now go help Eric finish his boat. If he doesn't make the Romp its your fault.

Mike He's not joking....... lol
Brian, It was Ghost's old boat.... One of my dads customers now. My dad actually rebuilt the motor for him after it sucked a reed, and when I put him in the water he was telling me how he was gonna give me a wooping out on the bay! Had a fun time today getting back out there!
