Don't get me started on the destructive power that can be created with compressed high pressure combustible gasses and oxy.

No, I was just a rotten Child/Teen [later a Teen/Hippie] who always Pushed-The-Envelope, we even made our own exploding RPGs out of empty CO2 cartridges filled with home-made black powder that we fired across the river [1/2 mile wide]. Our Neighbor was a Federal Judge and he was always scared to see what was going to happen next in our back yard or on our dock.
My parents/family had little hope of me living long enough to become an adult. Instead, to their surprise, I was the first in my Family to become a Christian at 20 and became very Conservative. As a Christian [for 37 years] I still have a tremendous amount of fun, even as I have gotten older!Last edited by JR IN JAX; 12-30-2010 at 01:08 PM.
"Confidence" is that wonderful feeling you had right before you fully understood your true situation.- Unknown

A friend of mine (retired judge... go figure) took a potato gun, wrapped it with packaging tape and duct tape (to keep the shrapnel down if it blew) and was using 30% nitro methane for a propellant and candles for projectile. Range was about 200 yards.
And it kicked!!!

No problems with the polymers. They get the job done and save weight.

What I didnt like about the Sig p230 is that the magazine release is in the bottom of the grip and you have to take the time to strip it out instead of it free falling. This waste time when reloading. I got rid of mine for just that reason however if your not required to qualify with it twice a year than this may not make a difference to you. JMO

IMO, if i were to buy a handgun i know is reliable i would buy a Springfield XD i think they make the xdm now not sure. I have a few friends that have em and ive shot the springfield and im pretty impressed with it. The glock will also do the trick there a little more of a 'sloppier" gun in my eyes. They have more tolerances built in if you can understand that. My buddy took a glock buried it in sand for two months i mean packed the sand over it poured water on it just to make sure it was packed and buried good. Took the gun out two months later pulled the trigger and the gun fired, I couldn't believe it.

FOR everyday carry I have the keltec and ruger LCP prefer the LCP ----- have the heavy artillery in console ---- just use the plus p amo with a lot of taper on the hollow point lead or it tend to jam with blutt hollow point. AND BLOW THE POCKET LINT OUT OF IT WEEKLY AT LEAST AND DRY LUBE. LITE ENOUGH YOU FORGET's IT IN YOUR POCKET.

I looked at reviews of all of these guns...Most had jamming issues with multiple types of ammo...The Taurus had no issues...Is it true you need to run a couple hundred rounds through em' to break em' in to make them be more dependable? Al
